Aria Brisbane has kick-started the year to come by being awarded two hats at the prestigious Good Food Guide Awards for 2019.
The accolade was announced on Monday the 8th of October at the Crown Casino in Melbourne and has positioned the restaurant for the highest honour any venue in Queensland has been given by receiving the highest score in its class, making Aria the best dining experience in Queensland.
The Australia Good Food Guide Editor, Myffy Rigby has sung the praise of Aria Brisbane’s experienced team which when added to their incredibly sourced produce, fantastic location by the water and 2018 Australian Wine List of the Year, makes Aria Brisbane unsurpassed.
“Take that view looking out over the Brisbane River and Story Bridge. Add the wine styling of sommelier Ian Trinkle (the 2018 Good Food Guide Sommelier of the Year) who’s as happy pouring from Healesville as he is Burgundy. The throw head chef Ben Russell in the mix. That’s a three-punch combination, right there” says Rigby.
The restaurant owned by Matt Moran and Bruce Solomon, and run by head chef Ben Russell, is an institution in Brisbane dining and has retained its two hat position since opening in 2009.
